ACTIVITIES AND PROFILE
 RIINVEST Institute for Development Research is operating since May 15, 1995 as a private think tank.
The mission of RIINVEST is to join creative potentials for promoting economic development of Kosova based on free initiative and entrepreneurship philosophy. As a first think tank in
Kosova, RIINVEST has achieved a solid position in cooperation with different segments of
Kosova society as well as with international community and organizations operating in
Kosova.
Especially aftermath of Kosova’s conflict, June 1999,
RIINVEST become important player in research activities on post-war reconstruction strategy and policies and in building up market economy and civil society in
Kosova.
RIINVEST’s activities are:

RIINVEST was supported especially by: Center for International Private Enterprises (
CIPE) Washington, USAID, Department for International Development (DFID)- UK, Open Society Institute – Budapest, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung – Bonn, Kosova Foundation for Open Society (
KFOS) – Prishtina.
Developing of project activities have created more possibilities for international cooperation with other institutions:
- RIINVEST became a member of CEMAN ( Central and East
Euro-pean Management Development Association)
- Global Forum on Management Education Network " GLEN"
- Global Development Network Initiative
- CIPE’s s Network for Freedom
